Honestly, having a full team again with promising talent. I think we're all looking forward to seeing how ready the new kids are to play. Not that this is the litmus test, but it's all we have, and after winning 8 games last year, it will be refreshing to begin again.

Most interested in seeing Mussini off the ball. The Lovett/Ponds penetration and kickout

I want to see the staff come out prepared and with a gameplan. We we bad last year. But we had enough talent to beat the incarnate words of the world.
I also want to see our backcourt of Lovett and ponds.

We didn't have talent, experience or athleticism last year. I don't know how we beat Niagara.

Most excited to see (1) if the team is playing cohesively on offense with good ball movement, screens, etc, (2) if we rotate properly on defense; and (3) if Ahmed can take the game into his own hands when we need a bucket.

Niagra would kill to have players like mussini, Felix, or sima.

(1) guard play and if we speed up the pace.

(2) physical maturity of our players.  I've seen some pics and it looks like they've hit the weight room.

(3)  Bashir.  By most accounts he should be our top scorer.

-The Marcus-Shamorie 1-2 punch.

-Tariq's full game, haven't been able to fully grasp his capabilities. Same for Darien.

-Rich's shooting, Bash's versatility.

-The summer development of the 4 soph's.

Kids get a decent run in the exhibition, working on our sets, defensive rotations, transition game, etc.  And no injuries.

1) How much did the overall talent improve 2) How does having a point guard change the whole complexion of this team. 3) how much will the fan base overreact if we win by more than 15 (Final Four expectations), or win by less than 10 (win 1 game in the big east).

Niagara has had much better better players than those guys. They are down now, too.

There is only one question: is Lovett the real deal. If he is not nothing else matters.

Ellison seems to be injury prone.

Expect to suck early on.  We are diffinitley much deeper and more athletic.  Our guards are fast, active hands and stay in front of their men.  I expect it to be very sloppy, but so far our energy level and defensive movement looks good.
