From what a few guys tell me, he would have been a solid pick. Heard Hathaway of Hofstra turned job down. Not enough $$$ This job seems to have the appeal of a coal miner.

AD is important position, how are they supposed to get a good one, if they cant pay more than Hofstra.

I Thought the guy from MArquette would have been a solid choice

Goff's resume seems far superior to Gillespie for SJU and its lead program's needs.

Why can't they pay an AD what an assistant basketball coach makes??

That's Wisconsin-Green Bay not the main campus school that is in the Big Ten, Wisconsin-Madison.
