THREE OFFICIALS IN EARLY 2017
Luguentz Dort, a hard-driving and electrifying 6-4 Class of 2018 point guard at the Conrad (FL) School, will take three officials in early 2017 but has not set any plans yet.
Louisville, Florida, Baylor, Oregon and UNLV are “working hard,” his AAU coach Nelson Osse of PXknights said by phone.
“He will take three officials during January February,” Osse said. “We don’t know [where] yet, but we’ll probably take three. He’s going to be home for the holidays and we’ll probably sit down and evaluate it.”
St. John’s and UNLV are also expected to watch him on Sunday in Orlando.
“[St. John’s really likes him, they’re going to watch him play,” Osse said. “It’s an honor to be recruited by schools like St. John’s. He’s enjoying the process and he’s taking everyone serious. I don’t think there’s a frontrunner. I think playing for coach [Chris] Mullin and Mitch Richmond out there could be a plus for him.
“Everybody’s serious right now, I can’t say there’s one we like more than the other. He’s wide open.”
