Bash never plays with his back to the basket and does all his damage facing forward.  Seems like an odd choice to play the 4 indeed.

Is there anybody on the roster that can score or make a play with their back to the basket?

Right now, no.  The hope is that Sima can at least bring a bit of that.  Yawke profiles more as a guy who can face up foul line in and get points off dishes or offensive boards.  But as stated repeatedly we haven't seen that from everyone.

Brownlee played a face up four game and I don't think he ever really scored with his back to the basket.  But he was a foul line/foul line extended guy.  Bash plays much more like a 3 to date.

I really like Bash at the 3. His perimeter game is good. But playing him at the 4 can put 4 scorers on the floor at the same time. Makes it much harder on opposing Ds. Obviously it would be ideal to have more offensive threats from our bigs, but they seem to really struggle getting inside shots. I think Jones would have offered more than Amar.

Too bad the staff didn't  if they suggested Jones transfer
