Johnnies-Cuse On Hold?

The future at #sjubb is bright. How do I know? Because #Cuse didn’t want to renew series for 2017-2018.

Can we get some clarity here? Someone please expand on this.

They pounded us for years. Even more than Duke. They laughed at us. Took over our Garden and called it their own. We have only just begun to pay them back.

I'd like to play Cuse and Uconn every year.  Duke at the Garden, schedule permitting and depending upon what preseason tourneys we are involved in.

exCuse only wants to play cupcakes prior to conference play as Jimmy likes to pad record--guess we don't qualify anymore.

We just bitched slapped them and that whining little bitch in their house.
They're like Roberto Durand saying "No mas No mas"

Beat them bad enough and they can't it anymore.

I actually thought Boeheim took it like a man. He took all the blame. I would appreciate that kind of honesty from a St.John's coach once in a while.

Boeheim hated leaving the Big East.  He's the enemy, bit never had a problem with him

So there's no factual evidence that our best rivalry game has been put on hold?

ACC goes to 20 conference games next year, I believe.  2 games on the non-conference schedule have to go.

I have not heard one way or the other weather we will be one of them, or not.

When we were big-time in '99 and 2000 those Duke games were classics. I remember them like they were yesterday.

I'm happy to trade Cuse for Uconn.  That's a good rivalry as well.  I'd rather play both every year though.  Two schools I can't stand, but love to play.

I agree with that. Great for school also. Gotta make some money. St. John's vs creighton may be a good game again. But will never sell out.

Both of those teams crowd the Garden. UConn travels well and Cuse people all over the place. Those Duke games at the Garden are great, even 2011. If Cuse wants to keep it going, they can drop one of those cupcakes they line up to pad their record. Money might talk on this one.

yup, we need good out of conference games at the garden every year. it makes so much sense for all involved.  Cuse, uconn, and duke should be there frequently, maybe even a louisville; the gavitt games have also failed at that  -- such a big opportunity to have a  big 10 team play us in the garden every year -- msu, mich, wisc the best candidates

Aren't we on contract for a game at Cameron that they pushed back?

Just a little off track here regarding Duke, what is Grayson Allen's problem? Who goes around tripping people all the time?

Sorry, for the distraction.

Someone needs to explain to me why they don't just invite Syracuse to play us at the Holiday Tournament every year.

No one cares about Penn State.    We could play Syracuse every year.

We should play Cuse, Duke, and Uconn every year. It's great for the program and it's good for those schools as well. Fill out the rememaing schedule with cupcakes if you have to.
