No because we are young and now have to learn how to avoid the big let down especially against DePaul.  ;)

Cain and Garrett can play. Other than that, hand farts.

Going in expecting  a win.

DePaul was absolutely awful in Vegas. I would have said they were worse then us before today. They looked ok yesterday. Need to stop garret. Don't let him penetrate. Force them into 3's.

What he said. If they are smart they will use their size to live in the lane. Also the kid Mccallum has played well for them.

Wanna be a good team? There's no time for "trap" games.   Those games are only an excuse for top teams that drop one unexpectedly,...not us.   We should come out wanting and ready to destroy DePaul.

We are too young and not good enough to expect an easy win on the road.  I'll take a 1 point win, but I won't jump off the bandwagon if we lose.

We should never expect an easy anything.

Yes but we're not a good team. Our two big wins came when we shot the lights out. Not going to happen every game.

4-16 from 3 last night. Won because Ponds and Ahmed created and played aggressive basketball.

If we are going to win more then just a few conference games you would figure we have to sweep DePaul. Winning any conference game on the road is tough but seeing how well we have played the last couple games I would be pretty disappointed with a loss. I personally think confidence is sky high now and the take care of DePaul in a relatively close game.

We have to play with complete effort like we played last two games.  That entails at least solid defense, and no major drops in energy or lapses into stupidity.  This team seems to have a good quality though, which is they generally seem to have been able to mitigate that with exception of the Penn State loss.  I also thought Mullin's timeouts were very timely and well placed.  Each was called after a mini-run by Butler, and we came out after timeouts and executed to bring the game back.  Whatever happened in the timeouts, it worked to settle us and re-focus.

DePaul just requires a solid 2 halves by our team, and solid gameplay by the coaches.  We won against Butler in one of our worse shooting games, and in a game where Butler didn't play poorly and allow us to escape.  Good team effort and we can compete.

Assuming you mean our 3 point shooting was bad, overall shot 54%. Bash and Ponds hit a few tough 3's at important stages but otherwise everyone did a good job of looking for higher percentage shots. Ponds in particular had a number of nice shots moving towards the basket.

DePaul played Nova tough at Nova--don't overlook them.  We need to get our touch back from 3pt land if we are to best them.
