Patton killing us

As predicted. Creighton looks like a Sweet 16 team at least.

They're practically using a variation of a packline-type defense.  They have us off balance.  We're in trouble.

No offense to Marillac, but when several folks goes right, then he goes left and vice-versa.

Again, there is no resemblance when it comes to Patton and Sima, other than they're both black and tall.

I was wrong on him too. He can play. But our bigs are playing like girls

Patton 14 pts on 6-6 shooting. Draft stock slipping

Our bigs are so soft and awful defensively

Thought we didn't have to worry about him though

Provide some sort of help if Patton catches the ball that deep. Owens and Yakwe cannot guard him with no help

I said, we would have to do so during our pre-game analysis.

We'll make a run, but this game is over.

Maybe, they are playing soft, but he's much better than our bigs.

A wide open three a handful of baskets from two feet. Really showing offthe versatility.
Watson is literally doing whatever he wants. Might want to play defense on him .

Lovett getting taken to school
Unfortunately thats how he is going to learn, playing against experienced players.
At the end of the day Patton is the difference, we don't have anyone to guard him.

Yup. I guess we should get used to that. Schedule isn't get any better for our bigs

Bigger problem was our offense. We hit a few shots, maybe by some miracle go to the line a couple times, and game would be close.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Patton looks nothing like sima. Kinda of reminds me of harkless. Sucks to be down 18. Not playing terribly. They are hitting their shots. We have missed a bunch. Game is closer then the score.

Patton had 1 early foul and we never went at him again. Coaching 101

They'll face more solid bigs, but he's probably the BEST they'll face.

28 points in the paint. Domination close to the hoop.

We needed to shoot close to 50% from deep to have any shot tonight. 2-13 won't cut it against the big boys.

Why? Thought Owens could handle him just fine, no?

The difference is that they got a decent number of easy baskets and clean looks and we have to work so hard for every one of our points. This is what happens when one team runs offensive sets and the other plays 1 on 1 ball

The game and score is actually the way it currently looks.  Even if the score doesn't resemble the score, the reality is we're still down by 18.  I don't see us coming back, either.
