Day before the game and no thread yet? I was reading the Xavier board and they are predicting that Xavier hammers us. Xavier has some very talented guards and this will be a very tough road game.

We'll have to Tulsa them in order to beat xavier at xavier. Points in paint discrepancy bound to be big.

Xavier is good, they're home, could be a bad afternoon.

Thay are well rested having played last Saturday.  They seem to get to FT line a lot.  Gtown lost by 5 but were outscored from FT line by 15.  Their guards had a combined 22 for 26 FT's.

X does not have a dominant big man and although they have a great point guard, he is not pass first.  I'm thinking this will be close. We'll cover the spread.

Xavier isn't unbeatable. We played them tight twice last year. I think we'll give them, but we really need Yakwe to play like he did last season. Maybe a lot of us got ahead of ourselves expecting a breakout season, but the guy gave us reason to believe he would. He gets his head back in the game, and we can win. If not, we need great games from Owens and Williams to beat them.

I would take those odds. Xavier has great guards, but our guards have played well against just about everyone. The key for us will be how well our frontcourt competes against BE bigs.
