The only BE caliber players we have are .Lovett,Ponds,Bash, Owens, and you can debate whether Yakwe and Ellison belong in there. Assuming you count the last 2. That's 6 BE caliber players. 2 fr, 3 so. And 1 Jr In his first year of division one. We essentially have no bench. Our other players wouldn't sniff the floor on a good BE team, w the possible exception of Mussini getting a few minutes for offense. Also factor in Lovett and Ponds are small and we have a lot of skinny players. That formula equals bottom part of the conference. Now if we can retain our players, have them hit the weight room ,add Simon and Clark and another strong big, we could be middle of the pack next year w an upward trend. On the other hand, I think the key to our success is if we can retain our players and build around them . Major defections will be trouble.
