I think a lot has to do with the athletic department actually encouraging people to come with a lot of social media posts and giveaways.

Yeah, it clearly seems Goff is making it a focal point to advertise the games via social media. Seems dedicated and knows the crowd needs to become a factor in order for recruits to want to come, something we've clearly lacked in the past 15 years.
