D'angelo "3'lo" Harrison - 79Avery "Single game 3-pt record holder" Patterson - 72Willie "Phillies" Shaw - 71Shamorie "Ducks on the" Ponds - 55 with a minimum of 11 games remaining. The race is on! Does he get there?
The fact that Ponds is the best rebounder on our team is both impressive and sad at the same time.
Is this for a Freshman record or most in any season?
If this was Duke-related, then you could use Grayson "Jack Tripper" Allen.
I think as a freshman, Shamorie Ponds is better than those three players were as freshman, and all of them played on more balanced teams than Ponds does. He's streaky but the guy always contributes. Can't expect every game to be a college senior All American level, but some of his games have been exactly that. There were really only 2 contributors on that team and then a whole lot of nothing. There are 4-5 guys that are capable of scoring on any given night this year.

The only team to shoot less than 40% against us thus far was Gtown in the first game and they shot a respectable 35%. Add that to our league worst 3-pt shooting percentage and it's a recipe for disaster in today's game.
