I take back my criticism of Owens' rebounding.

Enjoyable win because we did it with solid defense and didn't have to shoot the lights to do it. Made big plays when we had to to stop their runs

Great win. Team played tough today. Nice to see a game plan come to fruition with going big.

Good job by the Johnnies!   We stymied the Hall's runs each and every time.  Once again, nice job by our squad.

Great win.  Only 8 turnovers to their 18.  We were outrebounded but we weren't horrible there.  Shot over 90% from the FT stripe.  9 blocks to their 1.  We shot solid from the field but poor for our standards from 3, yet pick up a huge win.  Owens seems to be getting better every game.  Don't forget we were without Darien Williams as well.  Big credit to coaches and the team.  This part of season is a hard stretch to win games within the league.  Kudos.

With this type of effort we will be tough to beat down the stretch.

Btw, with Marquette losing, it looks like we move to 5th place in Big East right now.

Great team win.  We held off runs.  We certainly didn't look like one of the youngest teams in the country.

Positive game for yakwe - you can tell he's playing with more confidence.  Sure he missed a big dunk and was still a bit of butterfingers but he was an overall positive out there.  Don't always feel that way.

Lovett, Owens, were phenomenal and ponds and bash had very solid games.  Even Alibegovic played a key role today.  Ellison was only one who played that really was a dud imo.

Of course the first MSG game that I couldn't attend this year.

This was a devastating loss for the Hall.  And that makes me feel wonderful.

Great team win.  Hustle, defense, better rebounding, and disrupting them with our quickness and length.

Contributions by so many today, and Chris was smart to give others minutes over Ellison, as he didnt have it today. Amar chipping in with 7 unexpected points.  Mussini missed some open looks and made a few questionable decisions but 4/5 from the line.

Oh yeah, and with 5 games left, we've beaten 3 of the remaining teams already.  All will be tough games, but we are playing our best basketball of the season lately.  Let's keep it up and stay hungry!

Lovett playing more and more like an elite point guard ... He actively looks for Yakwe and Owens on those pick and rolls.

That wasn't happening early in the year.
Even Ahmed has a few nice assists today.

Amazing ....key stat 8 TO vs Hall 18
Rest of box score relatively even

Who thought before the year we would have 6 wins by this point?

Time to start giving Mullin and the staff some props.

Agree wholeheartedly, we see each game,  he sees maturation and the big picture.  Very impressed!

Agreed this was one key.  Owens stepping up on the boards was the other key.  Stopped them from getting easy second chance layups

I think we all questioned the staff a bit when we're 5-7 before the cuse game but since then this has been a different team. There have still been some uneven games for sure but we have competed and played good basketball. This is a team no one wants to see in the big east tournament

Owens is growing a lot as a player.  10 points, 12 rebounds and I bet at least 5 or 6 of those blocks were his.

Would be great if either Owens or Yakwe could hit that open jumpshot with consistency. Seton Hall was begging them to shoot all game.

Jury still out for me as well, though not nearly as much as earlier in the year as you point out.  But for where we are right now, they should all be given props.
