Anyone think we have a shot today?

I want to be optimistic but on short rest this is a bad bad matchup.

I really don't even think we matchup that poorly with them they are just a very very good team. Quick turnaround and the fact that Nova might be the best team in the country will be tough to overcome. These kids are so young and once the adrenaline kicks in theyll be fine. I think we give them a game but ultimately lose by a dozen or so.

Unfortunately for us, Villanova is a well oiled machine and we are going to lose big.  It was still a much improved season and I'm excited for the future.  A big recruiting class in 18 and we'll be back on top of the Big East.

We don't need to win but we do need to show up. No excuse for them to hang a 100 on us. I have mixed feelings about our future . Last night was great. It may have been an 8/9 game but it didn't feel like it. We have been blown way to many times for me to be overly positive.
I don't think fatigue will be a problem. These are college kids. They need to come out intense. Mullin doesn't have to get into a fight, but he needs to bring energy. Hopefully it will feel like a home game inside. It absolutely felt like that last night.

You have to be discipline and not fall for 'Nova's pump fakes (particularly, Jenkins).  That was not a good shot by Ellison.  That's not particularly his game, IMO.

See those are dumb plays by Ellison.  Ellison trying to play like he's "the man."  When Ellison plays within himself, like he did last night, he's more than serviceable. 

Today, he's attempting to play like he's "that dude."

This could be the point where the game gets away from us.  Flagrant foul and 'Nova gets the ball back.

Too much standing around on offense.

This team doesn't have a clue about rotating on defense.
