Ok. How about will we be adding another member to the coaching staff.

He seems really excited to be here. He also hasn't said a word about how he feels about anything, or why he wanted this job.

He's not the only solution to our challenges, but he seems to be charasimatic & ambitious and wants to lead and that's a good start.

All sounds good. Now do something. Hope he realizes that he's dealing with a disgruntled fan base that has watched this school decline for the last 25 years. Patience is not our strong suit. So park the fancy words and do something.

So any results from the Twitter Q & A.

Lots of fluff in my opinion.  Most questions were from a group of similar people.  Asked about Carnasecca improvements ( looking into it), adding sports like wrestling (focusing on sports they have),  recruiting questions ( has total confidence in current staff and their on the floor improvements, no changes anticipated), etc.  I don't see him saying anything groundbreaking in a Twitter chat session anyway.  At least he's accessible, and he was trolled my some people and ignored their rude questions.  Ymmv

I enjoy him being more open and engaging the fans more then previous AD's but like others are saying the proof will come down the line whether he can do the job at a very high level. Seems like a dedicated guy with a good mind for this stuff, we will see over the next few years.

Did you read them? I thought it was great and for the life of me I couldnt think of any reason one could be upset with the work Goff has done so far.

He gave a concrete answer of fundraising needs to improve and that will help with a lot of improvements they want to make. I do believe he has a grand vision for SJU athletics of being more than a commuter school team.

 He also showed his frustration with MSG selling opponents gear and scheduleing SJU games before Knicks games. He doesn't have much leverage now, if SJU wins more and more people may attend more games which may give the school leverage...hopefully this isn't too far off.

What else would he say about the staff? Year three is the big year to do something and Year four is key if the team can reload and continue success (as long as 2017-18 season goes well). The team could have played better and won more, but non of that matters unless 17-18 is a success.

....If it's not I believe changes will be made.
