I know that since I live 3 miles from him. I’m just saying he wouldn’t be putting up 50 pts a night if the talent level each games was a little more and if there were any other basketball players on his team. Jimmer’s team didn’t need him to try to score on every trip. He wasn’t related to the coach. Most of all Jimmer was respected throughout the section.

The too slow comment was obviously sarcastic what with the great career Wally had. I heard his dad was against SJ because of the way we used Sergio Lyck a long range shooter like Wally who Lou had posting up because he hated outside shots.

Correct!  Outta Denver.  He was a top 25 player in the '88 class.  He became a fan of the Johnnies after seeing us beat Kentucky (Sweet 16 game) in Denver. 

Sealy, Werdann, and Sproling basically gave us three 5-star signees.

Didn't this kid's dad play for Beilein? If so, this recruitment would seem to be a waste of resources after the Beilein offer. Let's be honest, the kid is better off there.

Academically too...   

US News College Rankings for National University classification
Michigan  # 28
St. John's # 165

My guess is he ends up at Michigan or BC.

As I stated in a prior post his father didn't like the way Lou used Sergio Lyck who was also a 6'8 outside shooter who Lou had posting up and he didn't want his son suffering the same fate.
