Playing like a Brian Mahoney coached team.

Have to keep defense honest by at least looking at the post. A few time clark or Owens had decent position and our guards ignored them. It’s one thing not to have interior scoring buts it’s a lot worse if the defense doesn’t have to respect it at all.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

LoVett and Ponds with back-to-back buckets. #SJUBB trails by one, 77-76, with less than two minutes to go.

Lot to look forward to. Hopefully this helps the team in long run. With that said, blew that one.

The only thing I can say is the Big East isn’t as physical as the Big Ten. But we shouldn’t have lost this game.

Same  team as last year. Everyone knew what they needed to bring in to be successful and they came up empty. Poor defense, poor rebounding, and poor coaching. Lucky to be 500.

Let me get it started. We lost to a team picked last in their conference. Last of 14 teams. We have some good players, we are getting more good players. Means nothing without good coaching and stubborn arrogant Mullin refuses to hire a veteran X and O's coach.

Same people who aren’t excited for the season will be the ones worried about a road loss to Rutgers.  If you think we should have won this game (which we should have) then you should have high hopes for the season.

Hope they just needed a reality check. Getting bullied by an undersized PF and the opponent's 2nd half FG% have to be anomalies or we'll have a lot of tough nights.

Not saying I agree or disagree with the upcoming panic, but should be fun nonetheless
