You must not like olives.  Best I can tell it's like a standard Italian cold cut special, with good meat mind you, on a nice round shaped hero bread.  The only thing really different about it is the olive salad they put on it.

Judging from the stands we don’t have a lot of picky eaters. This sandwich, IMO, is fantastic provided you know where to get one. You are not guaranteed a great slice of pizza simply because you ordered it in NY. You always have to know where to go.

My first muffaletta was from Central Grocery.

Every other muffaletta I've eaten since was made by me. That first muffaletta was a moment I still remember.
