Coming to Queens 0-2, with losses @ Hartford and @ Rutgers. Reports are that Donyell Marshall will not coach the game tomorrow for the Blue Devils.

That sounds insane. Line should be 15.

The NY Post article is spot on.

I think we’ll win 82-57. I like what Clark said about recognizing a problem, accepting ownership of it and then working with Owens on how to solve it. That’s leadership.

In terms of Yakwe and Alibegovic, let’s see if we can find something positive. Anything.

Lost to Rutgers by only 4.  Doubt we are covering the 24.5 point spread

At this point, I give up on Amar. Last game he took 2 shots , both 3 pointers. He has shown no desireto play inside. Yakwe is an enigma, because he had a good freshman year.

Do you think the players go out on the court and stand wherever they want?

Do you think Amar doesn’t?

Amar is fantastic 12th man type. Not his fault he is our 9th man!

CCSU is a small team that we match up with very well. I expect us to out-rebound them, but I hope the team doesn't see that as a problem solved heading into the Nebraska game. We need to carry our weight OOC  to help out the conference.

Right, I think he doesn't. I think that because I heard Mullin tell him to "stay out of the middle" on the telly last year during a time out. And also because I assume that if he disobeyed the coaches instructions he wouldn't play. That doesn't excuse his failure to rebound, but it explains why he stands at the three point line.

He is 6’9 and over 230 pounds. He isn’t a terrible athlete. He could serve a use. Him on scholarship the way he is allowed to play is terrible.

His success is entirely on him. He needs to pay attention to what he should be doing on defense but the only thing he does with conviction is spot up for a three pointer that he misses at a high clip. He’s a senior now, and I don’t care how limited he is as an athlete, he can still understand what he should be doing on a given play.

I thought his ceiling was Donald Emanuel, and that guy took his lumps before he became a 3 point shooting senior center off the bench who could also board. He didn’t have a wonderful career start to finish but he did finally put it all together and he became a key role player as a senior for a tournament team.

Is that too much to ask for Ali B?

Sloppy start.  No defense, either.

Crafty finish there by Ponds for a potential "And 1."

Too much dribbling by LoVett.  Nice shot by Owens.  If he can hit that 12'-15' foot jumper with any consistency, then it could open things up for him.
