The biggest problem about our lack of depth is that our guards can get away with anything. If they bring it 100% every game we can beat anybody.

Ponds 5-18 and we won.  I’ll take it.  Great FT shooting, big 3 from Clark,  incredible steal by Simon, and Yakwe with a nice put back.

Great improvement in defensive intensity so far this year.  Much better positioning overall but got to stop fouling.

Yakwe has been tremendous.
Relatively speaking ,he was. Played hard, hit his free throws. Defended well and is improving. An important piece of the puzzle. Owens also played well. Ponds had an off shooting day, but sure can get to the ft line and make them. Had 6 assists. Nice come from behind W. A nice way to kick off thanksgiving dinner. Rebounded by committee w Simon leading the way.

We played like shit, but still won.   IMHO that’s a good sign.  Our offense was atrocious and we still won.  Yakwe was great...  big help this.

Man a lot of you need to relax and drink a beer. This team is fun to watch. I think we are still a year  away, but I will enjoy this season. Marillac, TonyD and others are making this forum almost unreadable with the pessimism. I’m not going to get as high on this team as some on the board, but I’m also no going to sit around and bitch like most. Can’t wait to watch a few more games this weekend!

Interesting how quiet this thread has been the last five minutes. Clutch playing by Ponds. I really like this team. When's the last time we scored 80 points shooting less than 40%?

Any win is an important win, but it’s thanksgiving, so yeah, people are occupied.

Time to Ahmed to grow up. He plays with the head of a small child.

Just read the whole thing in mass.

Many of you should be ashamed of what you posted.  We just had a thrilling come from behind victory to improve to 5 and 0.

I love you guys but the self loathing around here is disgraceful.

Justin Simon has an awful handle and he is very unskilled on his finishes when he can't dunk or set his feet.

agreed, he's no malik stith
