Justin Simon has an awful handle and he is very unskilled on his finishes when he can't dunk or set his feet.

Let it go, not high on our problem list.
He and Clark lost us this game with their dumb play.

Archived.

Chris Mullin is a terrible coach

A terrible undefeated coach.

Ponds LoVett and Ahmed all made extremely dumb plays.

Exactly!  I made, my share, of, boneheaded, posts

Excellent observation.

Ok, that's the Simon I want to see.

Why? Is he wearing a cute dress?

We had a decent turn out of fans and made noise relative to the overall small size of crowd.

Good job, by, the team, digging, deep, and rising, to the top.

Maybe, that'll be, a, kick, start, for tomorrow.  Kudos!

Just read the whole thing in mass.

Many of you should be ashamed of what you posted.  We just had a thrilling come from behind victory to improve to 5 and 0.

I love you guys but the self loathing around here is disgraceful.
Exactly my feelings--watched the "entire" game then enjoyed family dinner, then came here to read the bitchin and moaning for some laughter.  Not disappointed..  Mullin is terrible, we can't play/are not coached as to defense.  Look at the turnover numbers and I think we can play some defense.  read Mullin's postgame quotes and understand his philosophy.  When this team hits its offensive rhythm, look out.

Interesting reading through this thread. Some of you guys get down too quick and I'm glad the team didn't get too down today. Great grind it out comeback.

-Only 6 turnovers for the team and they forced 21.
-Oregon St was hot from beyond the arc. Seriously they made some tough contested shots and we didn't fold.
-Marvin Clark finally missed a 3 but he hit a HUGE one.
-Loved seeing the Yakwe put back and as a whole the team has been running the floor and gang crashing the glass.
-Simon, Lovett, and Ponds combine for 11 steals. That's incredible.
-Oregon State has a talented roster. Young team but that's a good W. Compare this game to Minnesota last year.

This team is fun to watch. Lets get Missouri

Suggestion for coach and Lovett. Quit it with the techs. Lovett almost fouled himself out of the game before he could work the magic that led to victory.

Great win. Says a lot when you aren’t playing your best and you still find a way to win. Only one key area held us back today imo: boxing out. We let them have easy baskets, especially in the first half because we didn’t think to box out. That goes for every player on the team.

Difference in the game was Yakwe’s resurgence. He doesn’t have to have a back to the basket game in order to be successful. He’s so athletic, if he can score on put backs and rebound, then he’s doing his part. Today he did.

Coach needs to stop showing up the refs. Yes, they aren’t as good at their jobs as they could be. These are 65 year old men who can’t see anymore. They are doing the best they can. Embarrassing them by making it seem like every call that goes against you is only occurring because of a bias against St.John’s is something that fans do.

Agree with this take.  Especially that folks seem to get down early and make some pretty nutty comments (Ahmed is not a "NEC" player).  But that is how message boards work; Seton Hall has a very good squad and my cousin (a big Hall fan) told me that their message board is insane right now after a loss to a not-so-great URI team without its best player.  Let's get MIzzou.

They shot better than us in all categories. But, had 21 turnovers to our 6. Also didn’t realize Yakwe only played 15 minutes. He really is elevating his game, which is exactly what we need. Gotta lot of production out of him today in a short time.

We toughed it out against a team that is probably as talented as us.

Hope Ponds finds his shot soon.
Not sure that we'll ever get Ahmed to play within flow. Important for us. He is very good in rhythm. But has difficult time creating for himself.

Any win is a good win.

Anyone know how I can watch a replay of the game? I had it set on my DVR. However, it didn't record correctly for some reason. I have Verizon Fios.
