Game 6: Missouri

Missouri much improved, but we are in the hole this game because of our sloppy lackluster play.  We have low energy and our shooting and rebounding have been poor.  Our defense is much improved from last year, but we have to stop hesitating and taking dumb shots on offense, and crash the glass more at both ends.

Just like that we are back in.  It's totally winnable game.   This is all about us.

Being within 6 at half time is great, considering -- again -- how bad we played for the first 15 minutes. We can definitely win this game despite our size and rebounding.

Down only 6 at the half... we made that run.. I'll take it.  Second half we have to be demons...

Lovett needs to take reasonable shots...if he can do that and Ponds keeps playing like that it's definitely winnable.  Encouraged by how the half closed.

The younger Porter ain't no slouch by any stretch.  For his age, he can really play.

To state the obvious, need to rebound better collectively and Ahmed/Clark need to stay out of foul trouble.  But the D got better the last few minutes of the half, especially on the help side, and the one thing this team has shown to date is grittiness.  They get down but they keep coming.
