Why is Grand Canyon getting so much respect?

Because they are decent and it's a road game for us, so no gimme by any stretch but a game we should win. We will also be the first non-cupcake they play this year so they'll be up for the game

Win tmrw then take in the rides, thought the team had the momentum. Refs weren’t great but, a lot of this is coaching. They were hot from 3 but CM needs too grab a time  out ask Marcus what’s he doing.

Why is Grand Canyon getting so much respect?

Because they finished 22-9 and this game is on the road.

UCF is home and is a bubble team themselves.  Not an easy game ahead on Sunday. Must win

Whoever we end up playing tomorrow is going to be a big challenge. Obviously West Virginia is very talented and their press is problematic but UCF has some really big bodies. 7-6 Tacko Fall gets all the attention there but they have a couple others that are solid too. Good test either way

This was absolutely not a good loss, especially if we consider ourselves a bubble team

How can you say this wasn't a 'good loss,' when you don't know how Mizzou will fare down the road?  I can't say whether it's a good loss or not at this point.  Ask me in another month or two.

Thing is Fall has never been a huge minutes guy.  He'll likely play about half the game.  The pace we play and West Virginia plays will be too much for him.

At best, both looked like bubble teams. And we lost by 8 on a neutral court. How is that a good loss?

There's no such thing as a good loss. But this is not a bad loss by any stretch of the imagination

Again, how can you say that at this point?  You don't know!  It was an 8-point loss, but you couldn't have watched that game and say it was really a "legit" 8-point loss.

Even if Mizzou ends up being a bubble team that doesn't constitute it as a bad loss.

Losing to Duke by 8 is a good loss. Losing to a mid pack SEC team without their best player  in Orlando, not so much

Good loss is funny. Especially when ST Johns had the lead

I just said that there's no such thing as a good loss, but apparently you have reading comprehension problems

Good thing we have one cupcake on the schedule immediately following that west coast trip

Well the good thing is we don’t have to wait a week for the next game. Baldi would definitely wear on the most patient fan.
