@Rutgers as part of the Gavitt Games. Disappointing

Well since RU will almost certainly be picked to finish last in the Big 10 by everyone this at least partly means prognosticators are not very high on SJU either.

Can't blame anyone for picking us 10th.
Easy route for writers right now is to predict the worst for SJU

I can see not being confident in the team for 18-19, but to say we'll finish 10th and it will be worse without Ponds is where I lose faith that the writer knows anything about our team. Without Ponds, 10th is absolutely a realistic prediction since we'd be returning only Simon, Clark and Trimble.

We have a very nice too 6-7 rotation. We are a little thin upfront obviously but to me the talent is not 10th place.
Cal lost their leading scorer and 3rd leading scorer from last year
Quote from: talkbigeast on June 12, 2018, 11:02:06 AMCal lost their leading scorer and 3rd leading scorer from last yearCal 2-16 in conference. 8-24 overall.Vcu and temple not much better. I work close by and I will have fun. But why play in this shitty tournament? Maybe their will be 1500 fans. Uconn playing Syracuse- sold out garden. Who makes our schedule?

Who makes our schedule?Last year, we had the 9th toughest strength of schedule per KenPom.But playing in the Barclays Center has proven to be a total zero for us. I'd prefer we never play there again unless it is included in the season ticket package. Otherwise, it will be very poorly attended.
