Georgia is not a top 100 team

Temple is and was much better than us last year. Temple is 3-0 and looked great tonight.

Ga Tech played #5 Tennessee close tonight on the road and Tennessee looks amazing.

KenPom has them at 103

Don't try to reason with him.

Last time I checked #103 is outside the top 100 no?

It's easy to forget that Duke cancelled a 2016 road game with us because it didn't benefit them to play us.

It's easy to forget after three straight victories Syracuse canned their series with us because it didn't benefit to play us.

It's easy to forget Zach literally last week on a podcast said that we tried to get Kentucky on the schedule, were upset with the Legends Classic teams and was supposed to be in the Never Forget Classic (UConn, Miss St, Clemson & Fla St are the teams in it this year)

It's easier to complain about it for months on end.

Selection team gives says exactly what the criteria is for an at large team. They are extremely clear what they are looking for. They want to see a team challenge themselves out of conference. It makes 0 sense to schedule like we did.

If we can’t win games. We should look into WHY? Fix those areas. Schedule needs to competive every year. As good as the new big east has been. It is certainly down this year.

Regardless of a good or bad schedule the objective is pretty clear for this season. Win 20 games or else we have no shot at an at large berth. We can all b*tch about the schedule next year if the team somehow manages to meet expectations this year which is a rarity for this program.

So just an FYI schedules are made 2-3 years in advance. Scheduling Cal looks strong but today it’s not as strong.

I think scheduling Rutgers Big 10 on the road is a quality game. I think there is a lot of commotion over nothing. Get wins period.

I’m sure we had no say in getting Rutgers as part of the Gavit games. If we were going to Nebraska or Wisconsin our schedule would be viewed a lot different. Put me in the camp that’s completely fine with the schedule.

Technically Rutgers is a Big Ten school.

In The Seeing Red podcast braziller also mentioned that we were disappointed about getting Rutgers for the Gavitt games.

As a program, we have no business complaining about being paired with them. That's where we are.

Then why won't you shut up about how weak our schedule is. You contradict yourself repeatedly. At least your co-president of the weak schedule brigade thinks we are a sweet 16 team.

100% agree just thought it was interesting that, according to Braziller, we had a home game vs kentucky fall apart at the last second, got left out of the never forget tribute classic, were disappointed with the teams in the legends classic and wanted a better team in the Gavitt games.  If just one or two of those things came to fruition this schedule would be viewed completely differently.

Rutgers is always a tough draw for the Johnnies. This will be far from an easy game on Friday. The team better be ready because this one is far from a gimme especially at their place.

I think Temple is decent and is a good game for us to potentially play. However, it shouldn’t be the 2nd best non conference team we play.

And come on with the Georgia Tech played Tennessee close. That’s either a straight up lie or you didn’t watch the game. That game was never close. They were down 8 at half and I don’t think it ever got closer than that. If you need straight up fabrications to support your arguments then maybe those positions are weak to begin with

I know you didn't mean to imply the opposite but no game should be viewed by us as a gimme, after a close game against BG at home, where we barely escaped with a win. And until we see how we play against a team with superior height ( ie. can we impose our small game on them) we have nothing to crow about.

I watched the game. Tennessee would beat the brakes off us in MSG and especially in Knoxville. Physical as hell...attack the glass like monsters.

Yeah I agree. Tennessee is a top 10 team with upperclassmen built like football players. They’d probably smoke us. I wasn’t disagreeing with that at all. I was disagreeing with you trying to talk up GTech by saying they kept it close with Tennessee. They didn’t. It was a double digit game pretty much the entire 2nd half. Win probability models never had GTech at above a 10% chance of winning that game. On what planet is that keeping it close?
