Owens playing really really well.  Great pick and roll oop and then put back while getting pushed.

Wow. Mullin and crew taking Cooley to the woodshed coaching. Justin Cole gets two minutes right before the under eight and we slow down the pace to a crawl to get us there. Switching defenses all half, completely dictating pace, and scoring off set plays.

Amar has played an incredible half. Owens too.

Providence looks off. They've missed a ton of open looks. Bash has missed three wide open jumpers for us. Can't have that. Cooley is insane for not pressing. What is he thinking.

Khalif Young with the rolled ankle is very good news.

The zone looks great. Our length really pops out. Imagine how good it would be if we played it all year.

Owens is a prime example of why we need a pg. great pnr guy and can hit shots from 15 feet out.  He would be a major force next year with a guy who would draw defenders and Dish for easy baskets.

I really like how zone has worked today. AA is a great communicator on d.

I don't see any reason Ponds couldn't learn to be that guy.

Agreed! I always felt if he became more of a pg, his game would be taken to another level.

Simon has 7 turnovers already and it could easily be 12-13

I think a lot will depend on three guys that will be taking over that off ball role.

Nicely, designed play out of the timeout.

We're blowing opportunities.  Providence is leaving the door wide open.

seriously....they had 3 chances with the ball down 50-47 and had 2 TOs and a bad 3 attempt.

Unfortunately, that 3 by Cartwright might do us in.  We just blew too many chances down the stretch.  Valiant effort, but.....

We win today if Simon was just bad instead of trash.

Tough to lose this game.  Really would've been nice to squeak into nit. Anyone have knowledge on trimble?  I don't think he's that good right now as a frosh but definitely would've been a better option then a walk-on

Cole was the better option due to our lack of ball-handling. You'll never see a Big East team with less ball-handling ability than SJU today.
