The only people who are talking about this still or apparently even care about this are a handful people on this board.

To say many of you waste your time discussing nonsense would be an understatement.

I always get a kick out of posts where people take time out of their day to post that a particular topic is not worth anyone's time.

Especially a guy who posts half a dozen times a day about the two year plan.

Oh yeah that makes sense...

Maybe I'll bring up Lavin 2000 times as opposed to something that is actually happening and is actually what the staff and administration are actually talking about.

No wait let's talk about hand shake line in a game that occurred 4 days ago that no one at SJU or anyone else cares about or is talking about because it serves the purpose of preparing SJU for next season...

I have an idea junior Jimmy Olsen. How about I talk about what I find interesting and you talk about what you find interesting, even if it's that people shouldn't talk about what you don't find interesting, no matter how boring what you find interesting is.

Agree.
That’s what happens without a post season.

coach 1
Year 1: 10 - 18
Year 2: 9 - 18
Year 3: 12- 15
Year 4: 19- 12
Year 5, 6 & 7 they made NIT & NCAA 2x

coach 2
Year 1: 17 - 13 (with former coaches players)
Year 2: 10- 17
Year 3: 11- 17
Year 4: 24 - 10 - NCAA Tournament

After the 10 - 2 start, I really thought the team would make a run at the Tourney this year but the situation with Lovett screwed that up. I would be more critical if the team collapsed with a full roster but losing 14ppg was impossible for this team to overcome at first. I love the character the group showed and it will only make them better next year and moving forward.

If they don't take massive step forward next year, it will become an ugly situation...

coach 1: Coach K
coach 2: Jay Wright
(even some of the best in the country struggled at some point)

And Mullin is taking on everything without prior coaching or recruiting experience. He's gained a decade's worth of experience with kids in just three year from Lovett, the tranny kid, Sid, Brooks, etc.

The one worry I have is that he was using Lovett as a SG when he had him (only 1.7 assists). I mean, c'mon man, Lovett and Ponds should have had exclusive PG duties.

Lovett was the clear pg last year. Seemed this year he wanted to showcase ponds there and have Lovett just worry about scoring.  Maybe that had something to do with him not returning
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Lovett would have had the ball plenty in Big East play.  That in my view had nothing to do with his departure.  I think the idea was that, at times, Simon would bring the ball up to start the offense and allow those guys to start off-the-ball to get in the offensive sets, but ultimately Lovett and Ponds would dominate the rock as they did in early games (like Nebraska).

What's the deal with the transvestite recruit?  Is there an article out there about this?

He's coming to St. John's. He is the real reason Owens and his father want him to transfer as Chris announced the two would be rooming together.

Where is Chris Mullin?   If people said Lavin was lazy how would you describe Mullin's recruiting efforts.

All jokes a side. Is there a tranny recruit coming? I just laughed for an hour!  No clue why this amuses me.
Attack basketball, pressure defense, 40 minutes of hell ... Early on it might be 30 minutes of hell, then 10 minutes of what the hell are you doing?"
