Tourney Talk

-The pressure on Willard and his seniors to finally win a tournament game couldn't be higher. Beating Kansas in Wichita would be awesome.

-If Cooley and Roy Williams matchup in the 2nd round, it'll be the third tourney game between Prov & UNC over Cooley's 5 year run. Let's hope the third times a charm over the dreaded Tar Heels. The 2014 2 point loss when they had Cotton was very painful. If Providence advances, they might see Houston who waxed them in Mohegan after we played St. Joe's earlier this season.

-Nova and X Final Four or bust. Nova went to Purdue and squeaked out a 3 point win in 2016-17'.

-Creighton and Butler are operating under the radar, who knows what to expect from them up against the field.

Hope the conference performs to the best of their abilities and continues to do us proud. Oh and btw, go Gaels, upset city! One can daydream.

Creighton will beat UVA. I don't think Providence is very good. I think they have overachieved because they pound the glass. I hope I'm wrong on that.

Providence is playing really good ball right now and it wouldn't surprise me to see them pull an upset or two. I've got them beating Texas and UNC in one of my brackets. UNC is probably a stretch but wouldn't surprise me. Cooley's an awesome coach. Seton Hall will struggle with NC State. They don't even look as good this year as they did last year.  Creighton and K State will be a battle. Missouri will give Xavier all they can handle if they beat FSU as Porter Jr. is starting to get his game legs back. Also Houston is legit. I've got them going to the Sweet 16 in one of my brackets. They can flat out ball.

Duke- I know their talented. Can’t see them winning the entire thing though. They play some weak defense. Only really watched one game though

I just saw that Brown would likely miss the tournament after posting that. He was their second best player. Still an insanely talented team, but I was a big fan of Brown.

My darkhorse is 12 seed New Mexico St. I have them in the Elite 8. Jemerrio Jone is a  Goddamn animal on the glass as a 6'5 wing. I wish someone would send his tapes to Simon and Mullin. 3.8 offensive boards per game and he eats every loose ball within 10 feet. Those opportunities don't go away when things get tight

Change it. Cincy isn't getting upset the way they rebound.

Wife went to TCU, and I went to Grad School at Texas  A&M. So I’m going with an all Texas championship in the Alamo City.

I’ll also root for there Bonnie’s, BE, and will be happy when TCU takes out Syracuse...SJU needs to get back and do well in this damn tournament again!

I have the Bonnies in the Elite Eight. TCU's Jamie Dixon matching up with the 2/3 zone is accident. Dixon owns SU.
