This San Diego St. team has some reminders for when we played them in what seems like a lifetime ago. Malik Pope and Trey Kell scored a combined 12-13 pts against Harrison and Pointer's crew the last time we danced.

SUNY Buffalo up 25-24 on Arizona. Rebounding is the great equalizer. I'd love to see Mullin really stress that aspect of the game here like Jarvis did.

SUNY Buffalo up 12 on Arizona with the ball 7 minutes left in the game. Holy crap. They are just crushing Zona with their timely offensive rebounds. This would kill my bracket.

Buffalo beating the brakes off Arizona now up 19 with a few minutes left. My bracket is ruined as I reluctantly put Arizona over UK last minute and had that winner going to the final.  Serves  me right as Buffalo fit my normal algorithm (offensive rebound rank, assist rank, total rebound rank weighted with shooting % rank) perfectly.

Forget the FBI sting operation, Sean Miller should be arrested for losing to Buffalo by 21!

When’s the last time an underdog like this crushed a favorite?  13 Siena beat 4 vandy by 21 in 2008. 11 Pepperdine beat 6 Indiana by 20 in 2000.   20 point blowout victories by 11 or lower underdogs have to be very rare.

From beginning to end they outplayed them in every facet of the game. They were relentless on the offensive glass against the cetain #1 pick in the 2018 draft, another 7'0 big man in Rus, and a specimen like Alkins. That's why I value offensive boards boards so much. Even up 12 with 5 minutes left I thought Zona would be turn it on and be too much for them.

Couldn't wait to put the small money of college ball behind them and go for the big bucks of the NBA.

Forward thinking strategy by Sean Miller to avoid having an NCAA championship voided. That's some 4-d chess right there.

Some people here would have a stroke if Mullin did this for a preseason game

Not if he beats a 4 seed in the NCAA T like Marshall did. End of this game was brutal as lengthily video reviews made end game interminable.

Creighton will beat UVA. I don't think Providence is very good. I think they have overachieved because they pound the glass. I hope I'm wrong on that.

Something tells me Creighton won't beat UVA this weekend.

Miami can beat anyone in this tournament.

Evidently not small Catholic schools from Chicago though.

You're such a lightweight. Tell us more about the two year plan!!! And keep telling us how the Big East prohibits kids from returning to the school they transferred from. You bring that up almost  annually and it gets dumber each time.
