Roster for 2018 - 19

Trimble is going to have to learn to move without the ball. He showed a nice stroke when able to find his shot and pretty good range but it isn't hard to guard a guy that grows roots.

I wouldn't be terribly upset if he redshirts but he seems like good injury/foul trouble insurance and there should be more to his game than what we saw last year.

The Marquette game in Milwaukee last season was a snippet of how good Bryan can be once he finds his legs. There were many games last year where his shots were just off but looked good leaving his hands. What I'm most encouraged with Bryan is that each one of his shots are right on line which is a telling sign of a sharpshooter. I'm confident that his percentages will increase as he matures through the program. To note, if you've ever watched him in warmups, he has sneaky hops. Give him another full Summer in Taffner with our staff.

If Heron plays this year, then I agree with "We Are SJU" regarding the starting lineup. If Heron does not play, then Dixon takes his spot and the first two off the bench will be Keita and Williams

Marillac will claim this is true even if Heron is playing next year. That is his story and he will stick to it.
ST John's due a break or 20. I predict he is eligible right away.

Heron was the leading scorer for the SEC's first place team. And he's leaving a team that's more successful than any STJ team since 2000. It certainly doesn't look like he's jumping on any bandwagon.

Then again, Bruce Pearl ain't the most trustworthy of coaches.

Unfortunately a severe one which has necessitated 5 hospitalizations and other medical treatment from what I have read.

I referred to Heron as Gil Scott a couple of weeks ago in hopes of dissuading dopey Carmine from referring to him as Gil Scott. As with most things, I find myself disappointed.

My gut says he will get it and be eligible.  He has a real case for it.  There will be little reason for NCAA to deny him with it with a Mom who actually has significant new medical problems within the last year.
