Lol Willard is quite the saint. “Angel come back next year. It’s in your best interest”

Braziller posted a nice pic of Willard with the graduating seniors on twitter. He also posted one with mullin with amar, tariq, and bashir.....oh wait

Chris Mullin is the equivalent of Roberto Kelly?  That is what this has devolved to?

Mullin had a private dinner on Friday with bashir and amar’s families to celebrate their graduation.

I totally made this up, but isn’t something like that highly probable if he couldn’t attend the graduation because he was being honored by the GS warriors and geting maximal national tv exposure for the program during a dead recruiting period?

This board is unreadable right now.

If you don’t like the news, just make up your own news.

That was a pretty thrilling run we had to the sweet sixteen last March. And to see one of our own drop 40 on Kentucky. Just incredible. See how much better that sounded than the egg we laid?

No offense to the Warriors, but honoring Mullin is laughable. It’s like the Yankees honoring Roberto Kelly. He’s been replaced, and then some.

The meaning of my post?  Mully is a HOFer, Dream Team Member, and Golden State legend.  To compare Golden State honoring him to the Yankees honoring Roberto Kelly is a joke.

What does all this BS about firing mullin or mullin for coach do with the topic "Diakite Gone".  I suggest the moderators set up two separate topics: Mullin Must Go and Mullin should Stay and then posters of like minds could rant to each other and the rest of us could avoid all this waste of server space.

While everyone is certainly entitled to their opinions, I just don't understand the never ending complaints from some posters.

If you are that unhappy with the program, why waste SO much time coming on to a forum to anonymously complain and rip the staff.

If people don't have better ways to use their time, I honestly feel sad for them.
Just wondering how much of your precious time and on how many platforms do you spend defending our coach? I don’t spend much time on Twitter, but I have noticed a few instances where you are arguing on behalf of our supreme leader.
The Ny islanders last season and for a long lime were poorly run. Yesterday they hired Lou Lamoriello. Instantly the islanders will be better. Smarter decisions will be made. Stronger, more experienced leadership is what the islanders need.
Discussing and commenting constantly on how bad our coach is absolutely boring. But He is the reason we stink. Pretending otherwise or pretending we don’t have a problem is equally foolish.
The islanders will be better this year. The fact that we need an experienced assistant 4 years in as absolutely pathetic. The fact Mullin probably won’t upgrade his staff just shows how incompetent he is. But trust the process! When Mr. ponds decides he no longer wants to play in queens, we become depaul.

+1000. Just like when Parcells took over the Jets, instant credibility for a laughingstock organization. Good comparison. It always starts at the top, in all sports and all professions. Good management trickles down to all levels.  This program is so mismanaged right now, it's absurd.

You missed the point...

As for the amount of time I spend on any platform - it has become less and less and less...

As for defending Coach Mullin, I will when I think he deserves to be defended and I have certainly offered criticism at times too.

I have said it before, the team's problems this past season can't be solely blamed at the feet of the coach or staff. They were 10 -2, playing much improved basketball, better defense and we had a mostly happy fan base.then Lovett got hurt and then Lovett quit, season lost. While everyone has injuries, the team this year lacked scoring depth initially and just couldn't overcome losing 14ppg....    sucks, not fun but honest reality.

This is why it is comical to read about a kid like Owens saying he was not used properly. He knew going into the season what his role was going to be and probably had a good idea what his shot attempts might look like. He had an incredible opportunity to step up offensively this year with Lovett down and he still couldn't pull his scoring up into double digits
