Could be a monster 3 guard backcourt with Ponds, Simon & Heron... Like Nova a few years ago...

Surprised but happy. Thought he was gone. Having a season is now possible. We need a PG. the only way he makes the NBA is to become one.

This is simply terrible news for some of you. 20 some odd wins and we play in 8 / 9 game at least in tourney. Which is a really good year for ST John's basketball. What will some of you complain about?

The mush has spoken.  SJU still needs another alpha to move into top half of the Big East imo. Hopefully Heron is the guy.

Thanks and congratulations Walden on a wise decision.  You're no Omar Cook.

Seems like shamorie really wanted to go but his parents convinced him.  Thank god we weren’t dealing with a self interested handler in his ear.

In the days leading up to the decision I was convinced he was going to stay in the draft. All his social media posts were about how he was about to live his dream and you can tell if it was solely up to him I think he thinks he would be able to stick after a summer league/camp what not.

Glad his parents have taught him patience will come back to him two fold when he is actually drafted next year.

You literally have not gotten a prediction right since I have signed on these things. Forget DiMaggio's 56 game hit streak you have a 10 year streak of getting everything wrong that will never be broken.
I on the other hand generally stay away from predicting things but when I do, well people don't call me We are Nostradamus for nothing. Unless Ponds gets hurt or pulls a Lovett we make tourney.
