Essentially picking us tied for 3rd in the Big East with Butler (they are only one spot below).  That's good enough to go dancing.

I believe other rankings had shown us 3rd in BE polls with Shamorie, before his announcement to stay, and 7-8th if he left. But it is odd they have our defense ranked stronger than offense. These Mullin era teams have shown few, brief flashes of team defense to take the defense ranking serious.

But, hope they prove correct and we are dancing.

On Kenpom, we were 29 in AdjD and 141 in AdjO.  Interesting that the losing Owens and Yakwe has hurt our projection.

This is interesting.

I am not in tune with new recruits as some of other posters here. However, everything I’m reading suggests that this will be our best offensive team in a very long time. The key will be if we can get some defensive production from the bigmen. If we do that, we will win a lot of ballgames.
