What you should have learned playing basketball when you were 5 is to take good shots. Should be one of the first things taught to you. Most of the time this is an issue for this team.
We have 2 of the best scorers in the country. If anyone is gunner it should be ponds or Herron.
This team needs its role players to play roles. Trimble lost weight, he needs to play defense. He couldn’t guard anyone last year. He had no idea when he was off the ball. Coach k was on ESPN taping practice, he said everyone on the team needs to hit set 3’s. Which is a wide open shot. That can be his role. Not coming in and jacking up shots like he does. (Like Amar did). It’s not bad luck this team loses.
When ponds or Herron on the bench. Tempo needs to slow. I don’t believe it will. This team could have used a PG and a post player. Not stars but guys capable. Hopefully dixion can play a little PG. Keita looked good but he was playing against walkons.
