I wonder if we deploy a hack-a-wiggins at some point?

Nevermind he's hitting 'em

Heron has good bball IQ and knows how to get to the paint or draw contact.

Nice answer by Ponds. I like the way this team responded in the 2nd half.

Lesson learned

It's fair though. He's made some beyond poor decisions. He just happens to make up for it.

Very ugly end to this game. Should have been a no doubter by now.

terrible closeout, they deserved to lose.  I hope Herron, whose game I love so far, is more clutch going forward

Well I think all you guys whining about a tougher schedule just learned a lesson tonight. Too many new players and time will be needed.

Simon does this at the end of every close game. He freezes up. I wouldn never let him touch it late. He's moving closer and closer the role I want him him in each game. Heron has a superior skill set.

Gritty win to come back from 11 down.  That is definitely a game st johns teams of the past lose.
Ponds heated up at the right time. He's been way more efficient so far this year.
Heron played a great all around game. 24 and 6 on 8/16 shooting.
Hopefully keita injury isn't anything serious. One of the freshmen has to be ready to contribute some minutes this year. A good team wouldve eaten that lineup with lj at center alive.
Three point defense and free throw shooting must improve.
We should've never been in danger of losing a game to a team picked to finish last in their division in the mac but 2-0 is 2-0 and with this schedule all we need to do is win the games we're supposed to. On to piscataway.

Ponds shot selection was awful. 17 foot turnaround with two guys on you when you are getting to the basket at will? When is that ever ok? The deep three off the bounce that he made? Bad shot...making it doesn't make it a good shot.

This may have been the perfect tune up for Rutgers. That Nelson kid would start for a lot of teams in the Big East I don't care what some of you say. And getting Heron, Simon, and Clark all that time on a legit big man will pay off later. That is a glimpse of our March. And making mistakes late and grinding it out gives them experience late. I'm nervous for Rutgers.

The coaching is still lacking and will bite us against better teams. To put it in perspective, BG was definitely the better coached team tonight. But talent prevailed. Let's just keep getting wins.

No. Bowling green was an ok team. Our team should have been better. Coach doesn’t get another pass.
Better players- Same shit
