Forget Ponds, I want the ball in Simon's hands late. The way he freezes up and alligator arms everything his whole career means he's due.

Also, why doesn't he take more threes in big games?

Trimble 27 minutes (-12)
   Keita 5 minutes (-11)

That's not on Mullin, it's on St. Jean.
All Mullin does all game is argue with the refs.
St. Jean does the coaching.

Yep. True.

Mullin played 7 guys. This loss is entirely on him.

St. Jean played 6 guys.
Keita's 5 minutes don't even count.
Fire Mullin.

What does Mitch do exactly? Look stoic and pensive?

Tough loss.  As stated, perhaps playing Williams and Keita a bit more will freshen up some of the starters a bit for these end of game scenarios.  Bottom line though is that Nova is a very though team with a winning pedigree and solid talented players surrounded by two of the top 10/15 guys in the Big East.  Booth and Paschall were incredible.

Important thing is not dwelling and taking care of business against Depaul on Saturday.

Players were exhausted at the end of the game. If the staff pulls this shit again, we could lose to Depaul.

I think we can beat them at home. We need to work on boxing out and actually grabbing the rebounds. We were destroyed on the boards 39-28. That is the area that cost us the game and a lot of it had to do with stamina. Have to expand the bench and get Keita, Williams, and Roberts in there especially with Dixon gone.

Keita looked like he never played basketball before. If he played more we could have lost by 20.

Now I understand why they added both Steere and Manuel.

Reminder that every night approximately half of all teams lose.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Pascall and Booth looked like men in a kids game on the floor. Big shots and and huge plays. As expected  though, experience won this game. Both on and off the vourt

Agreed.  He is 5 fouls. Just try to keep the others team big from dropping 40 and grab the ball off the background.

Dean Smith only coach to hold Michael Jordan under 20 points per game. Frank Martin held Keita to 1 point per game. Think Mullin can better that and hold him to .5 per game.

Nova took over down the stretch. Killed us on the glass, looked like men against boys the last 4 minutes.

Onto a much improved DePaul team. Better be prepared.

This is great, one loss and 3 coaches get criticized.

No. Mullin is the coach. This is his doing.

We lost to the National Champs at their place. We were 6 pt dogs. It's disappointing that we couldn't win, as we played well enough to, but this loss isn't the end of the world. However, we really need to win these next few games.

I’m under the impression that St Jean is the coach, Mullin complains too much, or is it not enough? to the refs and Mitch just takes up space, I mean did you see him Man-Spreading while Nova fought back and had their two worst free throw shooters sink I think 6 straight free throws?
