Only positive of this game was how Roberts played. If he can contribute it will be huge for this team. His rebounding and rim protection is sorely needed.

This team needs to stay healthy. The starting five play well together. Loss of one player really hurts. Trimble can play and he is a good sixth man. Keita is improving. Roberts can also contribute in spots. Greg William will surprise, but next year. They could win an NCAA tournament game or make the NIT finals.

I did, it was pretty obvious. If you didn't see it that's on you. Working hypothesis: you know half as much about basketball as you think you do. See also Dunning-Kruger effect.

Like many others, you have a convenient memory.

What I know about basketball is that often what seems like a good decision is a good decision.

And often what seems like a bad one, usually is. Like hiring a coach with zero coaching experience.

Right as usual.

U didn’t mention it then. Or the next year. How come?

This one is on Chris- the guys were not ready to play in a game they needed. The offense looks consistently out of synch. You cannot play street ball in the Big East. Develop your big men- Roberts played well. Have more sets with him and Keita together. You cannot win consistently in the BE with this run and gun, out run teams fastbreak offense. Run plays, be organized and be patient with possessions. Lav also failed in this regard, too much guard emphasis.

IF they make NCAA out in first round no doubt. If its NIT they out in second round if this is how they will continue to play offense.

FTR, I don’t think anyone started with any sort of anti Lavin agenda. He came in with a good track record and was exciting from a PR perspective. That first season was the best team we’ve had in 15 years followed by the best recruiting class in a while.

Wasn’t talking to you. Not disagreeing.

Foady- great comeback. No more poop jokes? Getting tougher the more your boy loses. Hope he gets to 20 big east wins this season and he he gets another year. I want you to have one more erection before you die.

Yeah I know.
Suck burn dood.
Actually no. As a young lawyer I had the good fortune to represent a client who lost his wife and newborn baby in a drunk driving accident. I got him a very nice settlement and have been living off the interest since, but then I'm a man of simple needs.
Wow I'd forgotten all about that one. It was hilarious though, I can understand why you carefully saved it to your hard drive and keep it close at hand so that you can repost it at a moment's notice. Do you have many other of my hilarious posts that you've saved, catalogued and cross referenced? If so DM me, I'd like to get copies, I'm working on my autobiography, tentatively titled Tuesdays With Realfan

Did you goto SJU law?

I refuse to believe you’re this ignorant.

He’s not ignorant...he’s stupid. Ignorance is a lack of knowledge or awareness.  He has a lack of intelligence.

Badly played game. Very disappointing. This season they’ve had too many stinkers at home against teams they should handle. Was hoping that DePaul and Georgetown would be aberrations, but it’s starting to look like a pattern that may take them out of tourney contention.  Squarely on the bubble (probably on the right side at the moment), and unfortunately can see it going either way at this point. Hopefully they turn it around as there’s no good reason to keep this coaching staff if they don’t make the tourney this year.

DePaul, G/Town, and Providence all have the ingredients to beat us - size and depth. Without contributions from all our starting 5 we have to play superior ball with low turnovers, and high shooting percentages to have a chance to beat them.

A very small margin of error for this team due to all these factors. This is what happens to poorly constructed teams.
