I’ll just keep on predicting wins because I’m on the payroll.

Ponds has to play well against them at some point right?

Johnnies coming out with energy and passion. Thank God that coincidentally happened, because you cant coach that.

Can we give Roberts the ball one time on the pick and roll, just to see what happens?

Not if you want to score

You have no idea if thats true or not. I'm not saying feed him in the post....just see if he can make a layup.

From Zach -- “Energy and passion ... you hope it’s there every night, and obviously it’s not with us. I’m not quite sure how you coach that." This quote from Chris Mullin on St. John's inconsistency would concern me if I'm a St. John's fan or administrator. That's part of the job. #sjubb

Smh...how could this not be disconcerting. How about hold them accountable? There are consequences for poor play. Don’t box out? Don’t help? Don’t hustle? Your ass is on the bench. Not that hard coach. Don’t think Mullin wants to be that type of coach though, wants the players to be self motivated. That’s all you need to know right there. He’s excepts mediocrity then wonders why.

During the timeout. Does that ridiculous ally oop attempt get addressed?
Or this tech? Or is coach just going to argue it

C'mon man. With a lineup of Ponds, Heron, LJ, Simon and Roberts on the floor... you want Roberts taking a shot? His shots should be strictly limited to uncontested dunks. Maybe uncontested layups too. Maybe

It was an ambitious Oop. So what. Keep running

So the scouting report on Thompson is to not guard him on the perimeter and make him shoot which is smart and correct. But why switch on ball screens when he has the ball? Just go under it and stay with your man on him. No point in switching Ponds onto a big for a token ball screen for a guy who can't shoot

All for running. Running equals layups. Have to get points when you run. No. Rucker park passes for no reason. No Bryan Trimble in transition 3’s.
This game should get ugly in the second half. Butler can’t keep up unless we let them.

Teams are doubling the ball when he's the screen setter ( and Keita) so he could be getting uncontested layups. And if you dont ever hit the roll man, or even look for him, they'll just keep doubling the ball. Just once man...if he dribbles it off his leg or throws it over the backboard i'll shut up LOL

Roberts was wide open that time. Would have been easy dunk.
How is this game close?

Not really getting into our offense the last few minutes. Shots coming a little quick and not enough ball movement.
