Houston almost collapses late but survives at the end. One down four to go

Does Davidson get in without winning the A-10?

Margin of error is zero at this point.

Why?

The so called "eye test"-as of right now, do you think they are good enough to be in? I do

No. Not on the radar

Might be able to afford 1 upset, 2 at most...as TCU is behind us as well as NC St.

How Ohio state is 3 spots ahead of us is surprising.

Davidson projected #13 seed with their loss, are they still in? St. Louis could steal a bid?

No, the A10 wasn’t worth monitoring once VCU lost. They were the only at-large team in that conference.

Davidson was put in that bracket by default because they were the highest seed remaining in that tournament until they lost today. Now that they lost that spot will be given to St Bonaventure until that championship game is over tomorrow. Davidson is out, no chance of making it.

Anyway. Latest bracket matrix has us as the 2nd to last team in. We are appearing in 74% of the brackets with NC State the only at large team in the field appearing in fewer brackets at 64.5%.

Having a game at Carnesecca next week is looking more and more likely

Jerry Palm has updated his bracket with the same sentiment to a game with TCU ... since we've already beaten a VCU how difficult can it be to get a T out of a CU? :)

Cinci going to knock Wichita out. No bid stealer coming from the AAC.

Utah State looking good too. Would be a massive collapse if they don’t win.

Just need to fade 2 more games, though Oregon is a small fav over Washington tonight

Perhaps with how well Powell is playing.  But remember about a week-and-a-half ago they were out of the tournament, and we beat them twice this year, including the second time which was a thrashing for most of it.  I thought there was no chance they'd dance, but they gutted out W's over Nova/Marquette and then won the 2 they needed in the BE to get in, although they caught an extremely lucky break with Howard getting hurt again in the first half last night (otherwise, they lose).  The team that played most of the BE season could reappear and they lose the 8/9 game.

Marquette all depends on Howard's health.  Nova I think it depends on matchups as you know they will be a tough out.
