disgraceful performance.  Clarke is the most undisciplined player I can recall.  Ponds better wake up soon, he is playing his way into a senior season

Man they didn't show up to play today. I don't understand how we don't want blood from Providence because they kick our shit in far too often.

Just never know which sju team is going to show up. Our bigs are terrible, and when ponds is not at his best, tough to win consistently. I would think this game lights fire under their ass rest of year, but again just don’t know.

Ponds played like his girl dumped him or his dog died.  Uninspired lame showing

We got to see how Jarvis would have handled Mullin again. Cooley has the same type of team and does the same stuff.

They are a much better team than we are and they own us.

Cue the play Earlington posts.

Hard to believe PU only took 37 FTs, seems like they were short changed.

I have always thought Cooley was a good coach and has his guys ready to play against us. Mullin has to demand consistency if we are to be great again, beat the teams your supposed to beat or at least play it close against a well-coached team. I could have taken a loss tonight because I respect that program and the difficulty of playing there but not this bad.

And once again Shamorie proves himself a late second rounder. He should return for senior year, nothing to gain by leaving now unless we make tourney and he goes on Kemba like tear to get us through March.

They are a better coached team. They took advantage of our weaknesses and took away our strengths. We had no answer. We are a finesse team. LJ is looking like the best player on the team it should be Heron. This was the type of game where Heron needed to try to carry us. He needed to take 20 shots and have double digit FT attempts. He’s just too passive.

Ponds is blowing it big time regarding his NBA chances.  If it wasn't for Heron stepping up they'd be on the outside looking in inside of on the bubble, which they may be right now because that wasn't just a loss, that was a debacle.  If the guy declares for the NBA draft he is clueless, at this rate he won't even be selected.  To me it seems like he isn't able to handle the rigors of carrying a team for this period of time.

Coaching is one factor in determining if a team is better or worse.

Would that would be the Mike Jarvis who was 76-112 at Florida Atlantic? Because that guy had his hands full with Don Maestri and Bob Marlin. Who? Exactly.

Why should it be heron? From my perspective he’s #3 and it’s been pretty obvious. LJ a better rebounder, passer, defender, and finisher. Also the smarter player of the two.

We also need to stop with big men "projects" in this program dating back to the dud Adonis. Fine, bring 1 on board each season and hope they work out but make it a priority to get a 4-5 star big each season that is ready NOW. If its not a center, at least a good forward with solid rebounding and scoring skills. We will never take the next step with this guard first, out run mentality.

Gotta figure out a new rotation for games against dominant bigs...might come up again vs Depaul. Clark is too foul prone to take those guys on and we can’t keep losing him.

Xavier’s two bigs are even better than both DePaul and providence. And those guys enjoy beating people up inside. Need to win the first one at home or were in trouble.
