BE Tournament Depaul predictions thread

Logic and common sense would say you're probably right. However this team and what I've seen from them, especially over the last 3 weeks, tells me something different. They look lost out there and continually force the same stuff (iso ball, deep jumpers). If that's not working they're basically toast. They make very few adjustments on offense and it's so painful to watch as they get severely outcoached. Normally we handle DePaul here but they have the blueprint on how to beat us so...

They have beaten us soundly twice now. But still, it’s very hard to beat a team three times in one season.

If anything, we’re a streaky team.

Watched a lot of games this year, granted on television.

These guys look beat. Physically and mentally...beat. Playing thirty minutes a game since November, the starters show little excitement or enthusiasm. The five-guys-around-the-arc offense? Very few cuts being made toward the basket. The bench was never developed, to provide spark on a consistent basis.

Ironically, if they can get past DePaul, they match up with Marquette and Seton Hall after.

We win this one like we would have if we had Ponds the first time.

Ponds with a huge first half builds up a nice lead. Once game slows down in second we struggle to hold on but do so narrowly. 81-77 good guys.

Who are the refs for this one? This is the most important variable.
