The single biggest weakness of this team is a lack of a competent second ball-handler.

Wasn't that Mikey Dixon?

Who would you rather have Mikey Dixon this year or Steere for the next 3-4. I’m sure it came to that. When tr staff realized how bad Keita sucked and his off the court stuff...it became a scramble.

We could certainly use Dixon now.

While there is at least one game left in the season in the dance or NIT I just wanna say I really hope Simon comes back for his senior year. It was bullshit watching Texas Tech honor Tariq on senior day that should have been here. Simon deserves his night at the Garden next year.

Agree
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Mikey Dixon. I've seen him play and know that he was conference rookie player of the year at Quinnipiac. I have no idea who Steere is or what he might bring.

My very intelligent and spot on opinion of St. John's personnel is only based off of what they bring once they arrive on campus. I follow recruiting not at all.

You bad mouth my Mfp's and best believe I will defend and then they'll go out and back me up.

As good as Garfunkel was against Strus yesterday - he was even better tonight.

Sat in a great seat midcourt and know that out of Howard's 30 pts, he scored ONLY 2 on Simon. Conference Poy was so smart about it.  When Justin was guarding him he didn't even attempt to take him because he knew he couldn't and passed the ball.  The second that LJ, Clarke, Ponds, Williams, Heron or Keita was covering, and all of them got switched onto him,  he immediately looked to create for himself.

Let the record show that in the 2019 BE tournament the best St. John's player without a doubt was not Walden or LJ, but much maligned Justin Simon.

I have a feeling Simon will throw the locks on Dort. Markus Howard him to submission.
