Game 34: vs. Arizona State (NCAA Tournament, First Four)

Hope they make a run here but this is one of the most disappointing performances I can ever remember from a St. John’s team.

Please don’t say this is on the staff, these kids are playing terrible game. They are missing wide open looks all night

ASU gave them every opportunity to get back into this game right from the start of rhe 2nd half.

Honestly they should allow him to resign, considering his stature within the program.  But if he doesn't, they need to make the move.

Couldn’t agree more. He’s embarrassing as a HC. I will never forget him tying his shoes in that inside the huddle.

They should be full court pressing and trapping all the time.

Maybe the reason the shooting %s are so bad is because the team runs a deeply flawed offensive system and the shot selection is completely abysmal, a problem this team has had for 4 years now. Shot selection is something that needs to be and usually is corrected by the coaches, but unfortunately not in our case.

that's not his game...he is a finesse 3 pt shooter...and he hasn't been able to do that.  Based on how this last half of the season has gone for him he really won't be missed.

I just believed Lavin would have done well for us especially if we paid up for a solid associate HC. Lavin has has flaws and I wasn’t completely against moving on but this is not an improvement.

Clark got worse as the season went on. Significantly worse. That's all coaching.
