News dropping an hour before tip of the national championship game. Talk about a news dump

Did you watch the game (or the end of the season for that matter)?  They were horrible to watch.

I've already gone on record that carmine is either trolling y'all or will simply back Mullin, regardless.  Reason why I stopped replying to his posts.

Or maybe he knows that firing a coach at St. John's off of a very successful Ncaa bid season is stupid.

This did not age well.

Congrats MJ

No offense to carmine, as he may actually be a real good dude.  But his posts on this forum were a waste of time, IMO.

Hurley has been in the discussion for a long time. He will be the next coach, Borman should be coming as well.

By the way, after completely whiffing on the Slice thing 3 years ago, Zach completely whiffed on this one too. Instead of avoiding addressing it in the name of being responsible, he claimed Mullin wasn't going anywhere and that there would be no staff overhaul.

I can say it again 3 days later with confidence. Thank the Lord!

Now let's close the deal on Bobby and start building this thing the right way.

Hopefully this helps dispel the Cragg Doesn't Know What He Is Doing Crowd.  Step 1 of about 5, but probably the hardest one

I don’t think he whiffed. He reported what he was told. I don’t believe he believed everything he was told.

it doesn't feel too great to force an all time great to resign, as there's no way this was a voluntary decision.  Definitely trying to bury this.

But, Cragg made the right choice.  Hurley would be fine.

Sorry to all the oldies on here who got too emotional because he was an amazing player.  If he was some random guy it would have been 95% in favor of letting him go.  Wonder if he was given a chance to stay if they took control over who was on his staff and he refused.

Oh happy day!

I'm thrilled to see that Cragg has the complete confidence of the university to steer the program as he sees fit.

Mullin the player is the greatest legend this program has ever seen.  Mullin the coach is one of the worst we've ever had.

Idea is to have better sources or at least be able to sniff around that something is going on, have a pulse of the actors involved. He completely whiffed-poor job.

Hahaha yeah he’s been awful since Matt left.
