Dunn is physically superior to Mikey Dixon in every way. Calling the MAAC superior is quite a stretch as well.

I think Dixon could have done well here offensively. It turns out he probably didn’t have enough between the ears to play defense at this level. I’d be surprised if Dunn wasn’t at least above average on that end of the floor.

You defend and support your players regardless of how much of an impact they may or may not have. This ruling is egregious and it goes against everything the NCAA has purported to change going forward.

We are one of the last programs that should be afraid of the NCAA. We may not be a Kansas-type blue blood, but I’d bet we have one of the highest %s of attorneys as alumni or fans—even forum villains like Marillac and Foad.  Maybe it’s time we got together and threw that weight around in matters like these. St. John’s is also located in the media capital of the country. We have tons of leverage in situations like these.

I think Dunn is more physically mature as he would be senior. However I do agree he is probably superior athlete but slightly just as MAAC is slightly superior conference than NEC.

Obviously early to tell how they stack up as players but to expect much more out of Dunn is lofty. I also think Dixon should have gotten more burn last year. I think he could have contributed as I think Dunn can as well.

You know this isn't a fight? We're all here to discuss and debate about a school/team we root for. We will all have all have different opinions on matters.

The divide here lately is very troubling. Not sure when things got like this.

Maybe it has but I was just using a figure of speech to express my opinion that this time I actually happen to agree with Marillac's opinion on this matter over yours. No offense intended.

It got like this when a certain person left for corn country and spiraled with our favorite son’s departure. Once basketball season starts the focus will turn more to the games and what is actually happening as opposed to speculation and other stuff.

We've gone through 3 head coaching changes in 10 years. I don't see how most recent one has people so angry

Not sure who handles the waver process on the school side, but it may be time to find someone else to deal with the ncaa

Maybe we need Craag to hit on his buddy Coach K, for a solid.

Source: The NCAA has denied Oakland's Rashad Williams' request for a waiver. School will appeal. Transfer from Cleveland State.

Another waiver from a Cleveland State transfer denied. Those guys at Cleveland State really are POS. Having the support of the school you transferred from a big part of these waivers apparently and these dopes at Cleveland State don't mind playing the role of villain as everybody else gets their waivers approved.

Big difference here. Don’t blame Cleveland state for this one, it’s to a conference member and he played last year.

Different situations of course, but I think it could be noteworthy  because CSU has been douchy towards more than one kid.

I know, right? Who could stand living with so many democrats? It inevitably brings mass homicides, high poverty, and people shitting in the streets without consequences.
