If he brings it every night, he can do it - especially with guys not being able to sell out on D with Heron alongside him.  Last year, LJ was unfocused and sluggish during random games.  The DePaul debacle at home comes to mind.  He should have dominated that game with Shamorie out.  Coaches should have been all over him during the game and before it to motivate him and have him take charge. Instead the coaches sat on their asses all game as far as coaching up players (except for random acts of coaching from yoda/Mitch).

This is where anderson and co should be able to shine - getting the max out of guys

It was his first year. Maybe he’ll take more of a leadership role now? I think it will be expected of him and Heron.

What I saw often, was that Figueroa was wide open and had a lane to the basket, but instead we chucked up another three because no one saw him.

If LJ and heron have the same scoring output as last year I think we’ll be in big trouble.

if we an find 2 guys to distribute the ball I see LJ and Heron getting 17-22 each.  Williams should get 10 and Earlington will surprise with 6+.  Expect Roberts to shine defensively and get around 6 also.  WHo knows about the rest, not enough to go on to project.

Are these the same coaches that coached him up to a breakout opening D1 campaign in which he averaged 14.4 pts per game on a very efficient 52% (team leading) from the field and 39% from three. Leading the team in rebounding and second in steals only to a future Nba player?

Or were they just brought in to mess up the Depaul game?

You are all sleeping on McGriff.

LJ and Heron need to combine for at least 36 ppg. Williams or Dunn has to step up to 12-14.
