I think we're all waiting for Greg to breakout into the 4 star All State player that he was in Louisiana. Extended minutes leading to confidence is necessary, IMA has to let him make mistakes and grow similar to Josh and Cell.

Totally on board with everything you said

Williams is a true combo guard similar to that of Phil Greene. I think what we need him to be this year is simply a capable "ball handler"

Someone to handle pressure, not turn it over, and get the ball into Mustapha and LJ's hands in the half court.

He hasn't shown it nor does it look to be in his repertoire. He looks to be a true slasher with a passable handle at best. Hopefully he's improved in that area as I didn't see the first few scrimmages but from what I saw last year not a reliable ball handler.

Are two walk on point guards getting  burn because coach thinks we may need them? If so yikes.

Balamou and Alibegovic.
Amar barely played in that game. He is currently a professional basketball player. 6’9 with a big body. Remember amar was set to transfer, your boy brought him back. And never recruited over him.
Felix was an amazing athlete. Especially vs D-2 players. I think he is playing professionally some where.
Real question- did you watch that season with your eyes closed? The teams was so bad offensively but yet played so fast.
1 competent HS coach and 3 decent JV assistants would have beaten St. Thomas if they really tried. The key phrase- if they really tried.

You are the board idiot. It doesn’t surprise me that you “never understood” anything.

He’s a glorified interior decorator who has fumbled nearly every main assignment that has come his way thus far.
Your full of shit. He didn’t fumble anything. He got rid of that lazy man and got us A real coach. He gets an A grade for that.
I am an idiot. Last year you were talking up St. Jean as a possible D-1 coach. Where is he? Shocked it didn’t happen.

“Mullins is getting better with age” did you watch him coach with your eyes closed?

Williams has also bee hurt. He missed a bunch of practices because of his back.

The guy went from basically running a division 1 team to a job that he is definitely more suited for but is absolutely a huge step down.

Agreed.
And your a pompous ass who thinks he is always right but rarely is. Rough estimate that you had 2500 posts that were pro mullin and total nonsense.

It may take another 2500 posts for you to demonstrate an understanding of when to use the words your and you’re. Onwards and upwards, big guy.

On the topic of Mullin, I was critical of certain aspects such as his style of play and lack of emphasis on rebounding, while giving him credit for objectively improving each season he was here and consistently adding highly touted players.

If you are suggesting that I have ever been a fanboy of any coach, you are sorely mistaken. The fact that you reached such an erroneous conclusion is not surprising since by your own admission you are an “idiot.”
