St Johns vs Wagner - 11/30

I am up from florida for the holidays and will be making my 1st trip to carnesseca since i was there for a mcdonalds all american game in the mid 90s.  Really looking forward to seeing a game in person and getting myself a new johnnies tshirt.

Wagner is not a good team.  St Johns should win this by 20 or 30 points.

They are doing what they should against a team from a poor conference, up 20 with 5 to go in the half.  Anderson giving a lot of time to everyone, developing the bench.  Heron out of his slump but can he do this on the road against tough competition?

Disappointing how bad Wagner is. I wish they were more of a contender in the NEC.

I do like that we're up and up a lot. I like that Anderson is spreading minutes.

I want to see if we can continue to define roles and see guys get consistent good looks.

Need to see more Duke of Earl in the second half.  Only man on the team who consistently screens.  Old school.  Need to see more off the ball screens.  Watched Creighton the other day and, even though they got killed, their offensive movement was so beautiful.

Agreed.  He barely got any minutes in the 1st half.

I'd much prefer Herron getting back on track rather than having a mediocre/bad game against inferior competition.  If anything it has to help with confidence.

Never gonna crush a player for playing well. If Heron goes off for 40 against St. Mary's of the blind that's still a good thing.

ball pressure in 2nd half mediocre, as a result D suffers and Wagner playing them even, which should never happen for a 10 minute stretch

How much longer can you keep rutherford in the starting lineup??  Dunn is superior in every aspect of the game.

I am hoping the backcourt rutherford had that got him pulled was the nail in the coffin.

Get dunn in there as the starting pg.

Agree but Dunn needs to be more selective offensively, his percentage is poor
