Rutherford just got to the FT driving right

2 guys I have been very critical of, williams and rutherford, have been excellent today.  Great job by both guys.

We cannot take the duke out.  The minute duke comes in they cant do anything down.  This is not a champaigne game.  Hes not tough enough against these monsters down low.  Hes young though.  He will get there.

You obviously didn't watch the play. He drove right and got fouled before he even had a real chance to get it up on the rim.

Huggins will take that kid to task for fouling Rutherford. He will be directed right all year when conference play starts.

He’s a D-1 PG and a 5th-year senior and you want to celebrate him taking two dribbles to his right? Unreal.

I’m evaluating a D-1 PG...not a 7’0 center. He’s a 5th year senior too.  Do really think I believe he can’t go to his right at all? That’s like someone saying “he’s better than you.”

The basic assumption when commenting on high level sports is that you comparing them to other players at the same level. Compared to us he’s Magic Johnson. Compared to Big East PGs he has a shocking inabilitiy to use his right hand. I can’t believe that has to be spelled out.
