This team is far closer to the one that lost to Vermont and Arizona State than the one that beat WVU and Arizona

Anderson went too long without subbing again.

The Hal f court is nothing but one on one. The offensive rebounding is rabid—which I love. If given a choice of a plan in the half court or nonstop hitting the glass I don’t know what I’d choose.

As nice as the full court defense, turnovers, etc are nice I do think the fatigue factors into the poor offensive side of things too. We also don't run anything that resembles a half court offense which also doesn't help either

That’s not fair. Xavier is a good team. We missed plenty of easy shots. This game could be closer. And we still have a chance

Is Ian Steere hurt? Did I miss something over holiday why is he getting no burn?

What have you watched him do to get any more playing time?

Seen a lot.of these games as a hog fan, just if we could hit.a shot or if something, Anderson never had all the pieces at Arkansas an is short this year.

I don't know what goes on in practice but he played 4 min against Arizona. Not much of a sample size

Carraher wide open spotting up and Dunn takes it to the rack and gets it tossed into the stands

On the positive side this team never quits and the defense is going to keep them in a lot of games. Even on a horrid shooting day they still manage to hang around.

Yes, the game could be closer if we were better. We are a team that misses plenty of easy shots. That's part of the problem.

Our first points of the game were part of an 11-0 run. We were thoroughly beaten in every aspect of the game since then aside from turnovers.

We attempted 14 more FGs than them and only 4 less FTs and still were never really in it with less than 4 mins left. If teams handle the ball even somewhat carefully against us, we're gonna get romped.

As it stands now there are only 3 Big East games that we will be favored in, with those being by 3 points or less.

Thought Figgy and Heron would be go-to guys but they don’t seem to be capable of that role. Debatable if they even fit the way the rest of team plays, with the hustle and constant movement.

Agreed. Not a fan of Heron at all.

We lost by 8 to a good team on the road. I wished we won. But that’s life in the big east. Hit 2 more easy shots and a few more free throws and the game could have been different.
I am tired of losing and I want to win. But maybe the expectations are to high.
