Weren’t you the one who tried to convince posters that Roberts was better due to it being his Sophomore season and pointed to his rebuilding numbers when I said he was the same player as last year? Like I mentioned, the only difference was the way Anderson was using him which wouldn’t work in BE play. He’s too light and has zero offensive game.

Was he too light when he averaged 8 boards in less than 20 minutes against Arizona, Arizona State, and West Virginia?

That was rhetorical, babe. I know your act by now.

so let me understand this...You believe 3 games is a better sample size to support your position than the 11 BE games he’s played which supports mine?

This is why rational debate is non existent on this board.

It’s fine, guys. The poster who has sh*t all over his face from being wrong on literally everything assures us it’s going to be okay!

Do us a favor and predict some bad stuff, mush. That would make us feel more confident about the future.

Get lost.

I’ve been wrong about what exactly? Since it’s been everything it shouldn’t be hard to state, but that’s your m/o, have so much to say yet say nothing at the same time. I’ll be interested to hear you make up stuff, your good for that as well.

Can you point me to the season Mullin went 1-17 with two preseason all-conference players? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, but one has been a no show all year, he won't even be playing overseas, Heron sucks this year.   Atleast LJ is doing something though not much.

How about 4-14 with 2 NBA players and another fringe NBA player? Let not speak about Mullin I understand you didn’t bring it up.

I’m just not understanding what your point is about Anderson having 2 pre season all conference players. He has a bad TEAM. Are you saying he should finish top 5-6 because of them?

I was responding to someone else, not your and Marillacs discussion

That was part of the improvement. Mullin only lost the first 11 games to start the big east.
Marillac has no point. He is just butt hurt. He is still mad because no one conceded to his to his ridiculous idea that Mullin was almost ok.

Last year, it was Mullin’s job.
This year, it’s Anderson’s job.

I dunno, maybe it’s Heron?

Let's start with Coach Ninth Place isn't what his record says he is and work our way down. Although up might be a better, because there's not a lot of room in the other direction.

Think it’s a bit premature to say he isn’t what his 17 years of coaching record says he is. Anyone with half a brain knew this year was going to be rough. The roster is terrible. If we’re not dancing by his 3rd year I’ll be wrong.

How about Mike Anderson call some plays to put his two best players in a position to succeed and get buckets. Call plays for his shooters like Caraher and  Champagnie or sets to get Roberts and Earlington involved. Coaches in the Big East are too smart for the no play offense Mike is trying to run, he’s getting out coached every game. And you can’t win in college basketball without calling plays, it’s just not enough space. If you don’t think this team had enough to get to the Tournament, you don’t know basketball.

BE coaches picked the team to finish second to last so I take it they don’t know basketball either? Is it plausible, just maybe, that you don’t have a f*n clue?

St John’s was also predicted to lose to Arizona and West Virginia but that didn’t happen did it a rear of a donkey. Predictions don’t always end up to be true do they.

Same guy who coached them in those upsets is the same guy who’s 2-9.

Caraher is shooting 25 percent from 3. Much worse when you take out the cupcakes. Champagnie is shooting 26 percent from 3.
Roberts has less offensive skill then many members on this board.
Neither PG can shoot. And their are no posh players on the roster.
What kind of offense will score points in the BIG EAST with a roster like that?
